Yong An & Lynn’s Wedding

We first knew Lynn when she contacted us to craft her bridesmaids’ bouquets and floral crowns during her Holy Matrimony. That was close to a year ago. How time flies.

Lynn, a bubbly girl who simply loves anything purple, her outgoing personality shone and we hit off right away. She pretty much gave us a budget and theme to work with and left the rest of the conceptualisation and planning to us.

To put her mind at ease, we prepared a moodboard of how we are going to direction her venue design towards. Things were geared towards the vintage Victorian theme to jive with the Joyden Hall banquet theme.

We had customised reception wedding signage with white backdrop for the couple and to block off the ugly advertisement spaces. To add to the uniqueness, Lynn had requested for a desserts and tea bar. We also had 10-tiered macaroon tower in purple (that’s mandatory!), pink, green and yellow. Table props were carefully sourced and hand picked for the vintage Victorian theme.

Emphasizing how much Lynn loves Purple, she had purple car decor and bridal bouquet. The cute Stitch plushies were amongst the sea of silk flowers, participating in the couple’s big day. For the bridal bouquet, we had purplish blue hydrangeas, purple veronica, purple wild flowers, all inter woven with shades of pink, white, silver and green. How can we also not complete the bridal bouquet’s look with purple and white flowing ribbons? We love the bouquet so much but absent-minded us forgot to capture images of it. We had to get screen grabs from the couple’s wedding highlights while we wait for Lynn to pass us some images after she gets from her wedding PG.

Stay bubbly and blissful, both Yong An and Lynn! We love both your personalities and enjoyed the funny moments at the bridal changing room before the 1st march-in. Yong An is like a born drama artist and we are sure he will keep you “entertained” as both of you grow old together! 🙂

Atlee & Shi Ying Solemnisation

A different from norm couple as Atlee (the groom) was the one who approached and liaised with us for the floras and decor. However, we later found out that he got to know about us from Shi Ying (the bride). The couple’s request was to have red for the floras and the solemnisation decor.

Here’s what we styled and crafted for the couple (venue: Tunglok Signatures @ Central) and coincidentally the very next day was National Day:

Atlee & Shi Ying Solemnisation

We love how the red spruced up the place. 😀
Here’s the before and after pictures of the similar set of table and chairs to see the contrast!

Celebrating Mothers’ Love

Here’s a compilation of Mothers’ bouquets we have crafted for three different mothers.

First up we have Joanne who wanted something sweet and dainty for her boyfriend’s mother’s birthday. Pink carnations with a mixture of rose spray, esutomas, hypericum berries, ruscus leaves. We complete the bouquet with a patterned floral wrapping and snowflake tulle to add to the softness of the bouquet. With a budget in mind, Joanne definitely gotten a bouquet beyond her expectations. “It turns out way better than expected” – Joanne.

For Shermin’s mummy who loves florals, we selected a cherry pink hydrangeas that will never fail to make someone’s day. With dashes of red roses, pink edged spray roses, pink carnations, eustomas and pearl wax, we completed bouquet with khaki floral wrapping and an extra red bright satin ribbon.

For a new mother and a close friend of ours, we chose a simple garden look with rustic finish of khaki brown floral wrapping and rustic string. Elaine was surprised by the bouquet as it was a surprise bouquet for her when we actually met her to pass Baby Winston some presents. How can we forget the mother, right?

Mothers are the greatest in the world, not only giving birth to us but the utmost care and concern. Why not get your mother or a mother you know some flowers and make her day? 😉

Peter & Hui Lin’s Wedding

Hui Lin is a loving teacher and a sweet fine lady. In contrast to this petite lady, her significant other was tall and stout. To us, it is how a couple complement each other. <3

The wedding day palette was pastels and Hui Lin showed us an image of how she would like her bouquet and the budget in mind. We managed to swap baby’s breath to white pearl wax to which Hui Lin readily agreed. Adding  some dried lavender as a surprise element for Hui Lin, we also bought some curcuma pale pink flowers which we generously added in for her. We also crafted simple pin-on chest corsages for the couple’s parents.

The end result? Hui Lin loved it lots and we managed to craft her dream bridal bouquet for her.

Here’s a closeup pic of the lovely bride with the pastel bouquet.

Also sharing an endearing picture of Hui Lin with her bridesmaids and a highlights clip, both by Mojoideas.

Blissful lives ahead for Peter & Hui Lin!

Surprise Birthday Bouquet from Dean

Dean had previously gotten a Valentine’s Day no frills bouquet from us earlier this year’s Februrary. For the brithday of his love, we managed to dissuade him from getting just pure roses bouquet for the special her.

In the end, we put together a huge bouquet that caught the attention of her office colleagues when the bouquet was delivered. 😉

[flickr_set id=”72157656859764130″]

As the saying goes, looks can be deceiving. Although it may have looked like a small bouquet when capturing shots of it alone, it is actually a huge and generous bunch of pink hydrangeas, blue hydrangeas, red roses, scabiosa black, white gerberas and green ruscus. However, there was a  mad rush to change the packaging of the bouquet as the instruction of not to use pink floral wrapping was not related to us. We managed to get it changed in time.

The smile on her was rewarding enough for us!

Venetia Sng’s Wedding

One of the few brides who actually requested for tulips. Venetia had wanted bright and cheery orange tulips to be part of her wedding day.  The simple bride requested for all pure tulips, including hand bouquet, wrist corsages and boutonnières.

Below are the frills free, tulips only floras for Venetia!

Priscilla Yeo’s Wedding

Priscilla had wanted to surprise her bridesmaids so we promised her not to post any photos before her big day. She fell in love with our signature baby’s breath bridesmaids bouquets and she wanted to have customised name tags for her lovely ladies.

Here’s the pictures of the bouquets and as promised, after her wedding:

Congrats to Priscilla on her wedding!

Jeremy & Eileen’s Wedding

Eileen: Hiya. Do you decorate bridal car? (She proceeds to send images of a trolley bus)
FDTN: Wow.. That’s your bridal “car”?
Eileen: Haa
FDTN: For real?

And that’s how it all began. Receiving an whatsapp enquiry from Eileen end March. Eileen had spotted the bus commuting on roads and she wanted something special for as the wedding day ride together with her entourage party. Having not done a wedding bus decor before, we took up the challenge bravely.

First things first is to know your “enemy”. We made arrangements to track down so as to recee the bus that was in operation. We took pictures and shared with the bride. We looked for ideas on how to decorate the bigger than norm wedding vehicle and met up with the couple to discuss the colours, decor to be done.

The other aspect Eileen had wanted are customised signages – green road sign with their names and signs to announce the bride’s arrival during the march-in.

Here are the signs we hand crafted for the couple. Adding a playful touch as the Part II of the march-in signs warned Jeremy that it was too late to run now. We can imagine the guests chuckling when they see the sign.

And unveiling the wedding bus decor…

[flickr_set id=”72157654789428408″]

The colours, white, pink, purple, symbolising purity, sweetness and romance, they complemented each other. To combat the possibility of having wet weather, we had made tulle poms poms (as you may have spotted earlier on our IG) and fabric buntings. “Just Hitched” sign was definitely also weather proof!

The interior of the bus had flower pews which we made little bouquets for easy removal and they can be either recycled for the dinner reception or given to guests. Pictures hung from the handle bars of the bus, bringing the couple down memory lane.

“I like your proactiveness & professionalism! Thank you!” – words from the couple.
Touched by these appreciative words and this boosted our energy levels! We thank both Jeremy & Eileen for believing in us to participate in your big day, despite no prior portfolio decorating a bus.   Wishing you both blissful lives ahead!

XiangLong & Karie’s Solemnisation

Karie, another sweet bride, wanted pink hydrangeas for her bouquet. She also requested for flowy pink and white ribbons as she has seen them on another bouquet crafted by us.

[flickr_set id=”72157652549215183″]

We selected a pink shade for the pretty bride who is all ready for her blissful solemnisation and crafted a bouquet that is uniquely hers.

Here is also sharing an image from Karie, of the bouquet and lovely ring carriage of theirs.

Here’s the bouquet with Karie’s special carriage ring holder – dreamy and magical.

Serena Foo’s Wedding

One of the lucky brides of the new peony season, Serena had got her hands on one of the very first peony bouquets. With a equally beautiful fragrance, the bouquet donned white and silver long ribbons that danced in the gentle winds.

[flickr_set id=”72157651531531644″]

The floral selection for the bridesmaids and groomsmen were simple. Having baby’s breath as the main floral, we crafted our signature bridesmaids’ bouquets, this time decked in baby blue name tags and silver ribbons to match that of the bride’s bouquet. For the groomsmen, we had wild flowers accentuated by fluffy baby’s breath and finished with silver ribbons.

[flickr_set id=”72157653514382619″]

The car decor was crafted with silk flowers. Adding bright blue hydrangeas, the pink palette of flowers was further highlighted and made unique. We love how the Wedding Crafts sat amidst the decor, witnessing the love between the couple.

Here’s completing a pink palette complemented by a slight touch of blue.
