One of the earliest enquiries, we received a message from Yan Qi back in mid Sep 2014. She was enquiring on having a gold glittery backdrop and a “guestbook” activity. It later evolved to having a rustic drinks bar.
Yan Qi has dropped us a few images of how she envisioned a rustic setup with wooden painted signs and wild flowers jars.

After much consideration, we advised on having burlap sack signs and how we were going to put them up was a challenge as we have some space constraints at the foyer of the hotel and the drinks dispenser looking somewhat modern.
Here’s our take on a rustic drinks bar, with purple, white and green hues of floras. We skipped printing out signs and decided to make it more textured with handwritten chalkboards and handpainted burlap sack signs. Adding a crown of real leaves to the drinks dispenser, they were somewhat transformed, bearing a wild and rustic look. Suan Deng & Yan Qi took the first lead in using the stache and lippy, the colourful straws added fun to the occasion (spot them in the mini Instant prints!)
Also as a last minute request, the lovely couple also wanted to present their dearest mothers appreciation bouquets. This time, we had woven pink carnations with gentle purple and whites.
“Omg it was soooo pretty! My moms love it!” – Yan Qi
Thank you Suan Deng & Yan Qi for letting FDTN be part of the lovely wedding and we wish you both blissful marriage ahead!
